Namibian Myrrh (Commiphora Wildii) is a raw material cultivated by the Himba tribe in the Kunene region, in the northwest of Namibia. It is harvested in the form of resin that oozes directly from the tree and collected by hand by the women of the community. Namibian Myrrh Essential Oil  is then obtained by steam distillation of this resin to release a turpentine-like fragrance, with warm, balsamic notes, sometimes aniseed, sometimes tenacious, reminiscent of oak barrels.
